About ‘Prologue’

‘Prologue’ is where I put selected stories, poetry and excerpts for viewing of the general public. I used to post everything I write online, but I don’t think a publisher will want to buy stuff that people can already get online for free. This is a sampling of what I write.

Why is it called ‘Prologue’?

A prologue is an introduction or introductory chapter to a novel. It’s a beginning, enticing you to step in and discover where it will lead.

I’m really good at starting stories and never finishing them, so it’s an appropriate title for an archive of work.

I’ve been writing stories since I was 12. Friends from various stages of my life got to read some and they liked it, so I kept going. Although I now write for a living, I’ve yet to sell any of my fiction.
